The boundary description for SMLL (dated 2/93) is as follows:

  • On the north starting at the junction of Route 40 and Cool Hollow Road; 
  • thence southeast on Route 40 (both sides thereof) to its juction with Route 66 (Wagners Crossroads); 
  • thence north on Route 66 (neither side thereof) to Route 70 and continuing east to the Washington-Frederick County line to Weverton; 
  • thence Weverton to Pleasantville up Hoffmaster Road to Samples Manor on Chestnut Grove Road (neither side thereof) to Mt. Briar Road; 
  • thence north along Mt. Briar Road (both sides thereof) to Dogstreet Road and continuing north along the eastern boundary of Keedysville to Wheeler Road; 
  • thence north along Wheeler Road (both sides thereof) to Manor Church Road; 
  •  thence west along Manor Church Road (both sides thereof) to railroad; then follow rairoad north to Roxbury Road; 
  • thence east along Roxbury Road (neither side thereof) to its junction with Garis Shop Road; 
  • thence east on an imaginary line to the juction of Alternate Route 40 and Cool Hollow Road;
  • thence east along Cool Hollow Road (neither side thereof) to the original starting point.
