]]> http://www.smllbaseball.com/2012/05/big-league-tryouts-this-weekend/feed/ 0 Boonsboro Memorial Day Parade http://www.smllbaseball.com/2012/05/boonsboro-memorial-day-parade/ http://www.smllbaseball.com/2012/05/boonsboro-memorial-day-parade/#comments Wed, 16 May 2012 01:20:36 +0000 SMLLAdmin http://www.smllbaseball.com/?p=634 South Mountain Little League will be participating in the Boonsboro Memorial Day Parade.  Jeremy Barkdoll has agreed to allow our players to ride on the flat bed trailer of the truck that he will be driving in the parade.  The parade will be held on Sunday, May 27th at 2 PM and everyone will begin lining up at the schools at 1:15 PM.  If your child is interested in participating in the parade, please take him/her to the trailer at the schools.  The players are to wear their hats and jerseys.  It’s normally hot, so we recommend that they were shorts and bring their own cold drink!!!    Also, the children are welcome to make signs and throw candy, but it’s BYOC (bring your own candy :)    Dave Rogers will be a board member chaperoning the kids, but we’d like to encourage coaches and parents to ride on the trailer as well to assist him.  The parade ends up near Mt. Nebo church and there’s no place for the tractor trailer to park there, so parents are required to meet their children when they get off at the location.

District 6 is our 2012 host, and the details are provided below:

Cost:                $20 for members and $25.00 for non-member

Time:               Breakfast from 7:30AM until 8:50AM; The clinic starts at 9AM

                        with lunch also being served around noon. Meals are included in

                        also be available with the best in Umpire gear for anyone that
